1.         SPECIAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS BUDGET MEETING: On Wednesday, August 4th at 9:00am in the Fiesta Room a special Board meeting dedicated to 2021/2022 budget. This will be available via Zoom and in person. Zoom information will be sent out separately.
2.         Activities Committee Meeting: On Thursday, August 5th at 10:00am the Activities Committee meeting will take place in person and via Zoom. There may be a possibility of a quorum of the Board of Directors present, however this will be for participation purposes, not Board action items. Zoom information will be sent out separately.
3.         Election Candidate Search Update:  I am happy to report that we now have 6 Candidates running for the Board.  If you are interested you have until August 16th to get your applications in.  Thank you to everyone that will be running for caring about our continued progress.
4.         ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE: CRAZY RHYTHM MUSIC: Come relax and reminisce to the sounds of the Big Band era presented by Paul Mowatt on piano and Allen Fannin on Trumpet on Friday, July 30th from 5:00-6:30pm in the Fiesta Room. Requests are always welcome although it may take a week or two for us to locate the music and rehearse. Your presence is always greatly appreciated.
5.         Social Club: On Saturday, August 21st we will have a Chicken Dinner followed by a “Sing-a-Long”.  Dinner will be served at 6:00. Tickets are $10 and will be on sale on July 30th and August 9th from 10:00 to Noon both days.  Members from 2020 will have their memberships carried forward for 2021.  New members will pay reduced dues of $2.00 for 2021. 
6.       Vintage Gardeners: “Monsoon Madness” will be happening at Tohonu Chul, our nearby botanical garden, on Friday and Saturday, July 30-31.  Free admission during the event. Check for more information.
