You may bring your own food and drink as long as it is in unbreakable containers.
There is incorrect information on page 9 of the June SunCatcher. There are no reservations required and there is no maximum number of attendees.
Our next Pool Party will be July 16, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Put this date in your calendar so you won't forget.
3.         GELATO/ITALIAN ICE CART: Just in time for Summer!! Sunflower residents Steve & Cindy Rockwell will bring Rocky's Gelato & Italian Ice cart to the Village Center Friday, June 11 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. The cart will be set-up outside the pool area during the free pool party and all Sunflower residents are invited to support this new event sponsored by the Activities Committee. Steve accepts cash and cards.
4.         EUCHRE: I do not plan on re-starting the Euchre card playing group.  If you are interested in starting and organizing the Euchre group, please contact Margie Rivera at at the Village Center.  If you decide to start a Euchre group, the supplies are stored at the Village Center. I have extra score keeping sheets and I would be glad to talk with you about the twist the group had added to the Euchre rules so we could play three-handed if we wanted.  Euchre is a fun; fast game and I hope someone is interested in starting the Euchre group.  Sharon Knowlton, home phone 520-743-2367.

5.        SATURDAY MORNING COFFEE:  Coffee Klatch will be in the Fiesta Room on Saturday, June 5th from 8am-9am. Coffee and Donuts will be available. Donations are $1.00.

8.         GENEALOGY SOCIETY:  Either beginning your research or farther along, resources closest to home can be a genealogical treasure trove. This DVD lecture from Prof. Philip Coletta helps you develop skills to interview relatives, organize what you learn, and provide a reading list for more help. Join the Zoom presentation on Tuesday, June 15 at 2pm via a link from Buzz Brooks. Call Buzz at 520-572-7363 if you do not receive the link.
9.         NOTARY SERVICE:  Management is now able to offer notary service. This will be by appointment only. Please contact Margie at or 520-572-9780 x11.
10.      PRAC:  The Preservation of Reserve Assets Committee (PRAC) is a standing committee tasked with assisting the Sunflower Board and Community Manager with updating, repair and replacement of our community's infrastructure (which we also call assets). This infrastructure can best be described as "if it's not your property, it probably belongs to our HOA". We have over 150 assets that belong to our HOA and each one needs to be monitored for repair/replacement when needed. We focus on assets valued at over $1500.00 and as a general rule do not get involved in routine maintenance issues. The condition and appearance of our infrastructure has a significant impact on our use, enjoyment and community pride. We are in need of new members with a willingness to be involved in this process and work towards achieving these goals. If interested, please contact Andy Skroch (PRAC Chair) at
