1.         ELECTION COMMITTEE ON THE CIF ELECTION PROCESS: Your FINAL, FINAL opportunity to cast your ballot in the CIF Election is this Monday, April 19, 2021. The Electronic and Paper Ballot voting for the CIF "SUNSATIONAL PROJECTS" closes at 5:00pm. Please vote NOW before Monday (4/19) at 5:00pm.

The results of the CIF election will be announced at the Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at 10:00am via ZOOM.

2.      LANDSCAPE COMMITTEE: We will begin placing numbered 1-inch metal tree tags on all trees in our common areas recently inventoried by our landscape company. Sunflower has 949 trees with a replacement cost of $2,360,000 which makes this a valuable asset in our community. This offers us an inhouse tracking system to follow up on tree activity. Also, the numbered tag will make it easier for you to report any tree damage/injury. We ask that you DON'T remove temporary colored tape. Thank you for your support.

3.         SUNFLOWER GENEALOGY SOCIETY: "I Found the Record, Now What?" is the topic of Suzanne Young Brayer for the April 20 Zoom meeting of the Sunflower Genealogy Society. Suzanne will talk about how you can look critically at information you find about your ancestors to be assured its accuracy. Also, the research results for the winner of the March meeting's Treasure Hunt drawing will be shared.  Another Treasure Hunt drawing will be made for May from attending members.

4.      BOCCE CLUB: The Bocce Ball Team play will be changing to their summer schedule starting this week. The hours will be Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00am

5.         DANCE & ENTERTAINMENT CLUB: Line Dancing will begin Friday, April 16th from 1pm-3pm until we get back to a normal schedule. The first hour is dedicated to beginners and the 2nd hour to advanced. We are now part of the Dance & Entertainment Club which will be explained in the May Sun Catcher. Sorry for the last-minute notification but I just found a space for us. Any questions, please call Karen Barta (586) 292-6177.

6.      TECH CLUB: The Tech Club will have two opportunities for you to get assistance with your devices. We will be in the Craft Room Sunday, April 18th and 25th from 1:30 - 3:00pm.  We will do our best to assist you or advise you. This is open to all residents. If you have questions, call Anita Howard (520) 404-1350.
